Our favourite boys! Keke.

Playin around with Photoscape. 😛

When did you last see an all-caps headline on my blog! Three days of Dr Musselman left… I’m almost sure I won’t wake up to each day with the same energy and enthusiasm after he’s gone. 😦 I literally trot to class. When lessons threaten to end I nervously glance at the ticking hands of the clock and silently wish time could just stop.

He’s got so much to offer, and I feel terribly humbled and grateful to be able to learn from him. It’s not just history he’s teaching, he’s teaching us how to be a better person! How many teachers actually do that these days?

I got reminded of my lower sec History teacher Mrs ___ (i can’t bleddy remember her name, unsurprisingly) and how her humorless, deathly boring lessons made me loathe and nearly fail the subject. Then again, maybe I should blame the adolescent, deathly playful ME, not her.

Volunteered for this one-off recyclables collection yesterday at Thomson Gardens; there was just not enough to go round in that estate as too many organizations are collecting recyclables from the residents. Surely it doesn’t take much work to prevent overlapping collection? Pointlessly, again, some volunteers actually packed old newspapers in brand new plastic bags! My lone protests fell on deaf ears, and I could only watch helplessly as we took a step backwards in our “bid to save the environment” under the scorching sun.

I enjoy my Politics, Economics, America and the Future module tremendously despite having to sleep at 2 am everyday, thanks to the killer readings and assignments!

My lecturer’s a dear, charming old man who happens to have a wicked sense of humour on top of a superb memory. I can’t imagine him developing Alzheimer’s, going by the way he rattles off dates and throws out jokes without batting an eyelid. Gosh, I actually look forward to going to school! I wish he needn’t go back to the States after the module…

Shopping at DAISO is incredibly therapeutic. Was sooo tempted to buy the pretty but useless notebooks and letter paper, luckily sanity prevailed! Bought some felt, white glue, plywood and made something! Am supposed to be doing readings but I busted the whole afternoon on my craft project. There’s surplus purple paint left and I used it to beautify a photo frame gifted by a friend. Handmade gifts always warm the heart.

I love art and craft!!

Rawr, I won’t be in Singapore when they come! 周華健、五月天、蔡健雅、張震嶽and 李宗盛, 5-in-1! I’d love to hear Tanya and Zhang Zhenyue sing live. When is Tanya coming?! Been looping her Goodbye&Hello album, one of the best I’ve bought in recent times! Now I fully understand why she won 最佳女歌手 twice at 臺灣金曲獎。 She got 最佳製作人 for this album too, the first one she produced. Perfectly justified.

What’s more, she writes her own Chinese lyrics! Respect! To be honest, I didn’t think she could/would do it. Always perceived her as anglicised? Everyone should buy this album!

Fave tracks: 空白格 越來越不懂 如果你愛我 達爾文 儅你離開的時候
